- the exact statement, table value, formula, link or accessibility issue;

What happens next
- We reproduce or locate the reported issue.
- We compare the claim with the cited evidence and, where needed, independent sources.
- We correct confirmed errors in proportion to their significance.
- We add a visible note for a material change when practical.
A difference of interpretation is not automatically a factual error. When reliable sources genuinely disagree, the better correction may be to describe the uncertainty or competing views.
Types of change
| Change | Typical treatment |
|---|---|
| Spelling, punctuation or broken presentation | Fixed without a correction note when meaning is unchanged. |
| Broken internal link or inaccessible control | Fixed promptly and tested across relevant pages. |
| Material factual or calculation error | Corrected with a dated note on the affected page when practical. |
| New evidence or ordinary update | Page revised and its substantive review date updated. |
| Disputed interpretation | Reviewed against sources; uncertainty or disagreement added when warranted. |
